This session will address how to fund your special projects that may be outside of the scope of your normal art-making. Context, anecdotes, and a basic rubric will be given around the fundraising nexus for special projects. The goal of this talk is to empower new development staff and presenters as they plan to fundraise for the “fantastical and innovative”. This will be conveyed through development of a rubric to determine if a project is special and how and which funders to approach for funding. This session is intended to spark conversation and ignite funding beyond the normal.
