Akash Mahajan is the Manager of Citizenship Partnerships at TD Bank. In this role, he leads the giving strategy and key relationships with Healthcare providers under the Better Health driver of the TD Ready Commitment. In addition, he's playing an active role in the development of TD's ambition of ESG. Prior to this role, Akash worked for the same team in Toronto managing national community investments aligned to Better Health, and Financial Security drivers.Akash has worked in the Corporate Citizenship space for more than a decade. Prior to coming to TD, he was at Diabetes Canada, where he led a team responsible for building and sustaining strategic alliance with financial and professional services organizations, and managed funded programs that ranged from $50,000 – over $1 million dollars.  Prior to that Akash was at Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council (TRIEC) , where he connected organizations to programs and solutions with the goal to harness the potential of skilled immigrants and youth.Akash has lived and worked in US, Canada and India. He has an MBA in Sustainable Commerce from the University of Guelph, Ontario, and Certification in Corporate Citizenship from Boston College.
